History Dedicated To Custom, Quality Services Then ... And Now
PURVIS ship

PURVIS was founded on the principles of integrity, customer satisfaction delivery at all costs and a commitment to solving unique challenges and delivering solutions that were not thought possible. These principles remain a fundamental cornerstone for the company. We believe it's why we continue to serve the clients featured below, among many others, to this day.

Soon after opening its doors, PURVIS was awarded major contracts by:
  • The U.S. Navy: to assist in the specification and development of the TRIDENT Command and Control System at the Naval Underwater Systems Center (NUSC) (now called the Naval Undersea Warfare Center [NUWC]) in Newport, RI.
PURVIS expanded its focus to public safety in 1975 with a relationship with:
  • The City of New York Fire Department (FDNY): to provide technical services for the design of a Computer Aided Dispatch System (CADS), and later a contract for technical assistance in the implementation of a citywide communications network.
CEO and Founder
"One of the most exciting and challenging times for me personally was when my partners and I founded PURVIS Systems in the early 1970s. We had worked together as a team for other companies and knew we could build a strong organization for our people and the customers we would serve. As you would expect, our start-up team worked endless days, nights and weekends to launch our business and deliver the best solutions and services possible. As we continue to grow PURVIS for all of our stakeholders, I am proud that we have been able to sustain that focus as well as many of our original team members and customers."
